We are still accepting donations to fund local projects in Huancayo Peru. It may be surprising that we need to pay to volunteer our time and resources, but most volunteer organizations are small non-for profits that rely on their volunteers for day to day operation both through work and a program fee. The majority of the program fee covers the maintenance of the organization, and the remainder covers the items below. However, it does not cover items such as health insurance or travel to and from Peru. Your donation will help fund the following items and help make this volunteer experience a reality…

• Teaching and educational materials for the school

• Building materials for the construction of new schools and orphanages

• Medicine and food for the orphans

• Training and field support from Tinkuy Peru for volunteers

• Program fee for field and cultural support for international volunteers.

What we are doing to get to Peru ?

• Selling our car to pay for our plane ticket and health insurance.

How are we supporting ourselves since we will not be paid?

• Along with our savings, we will being selling almost everything we own to have money for room and board.
